gapertimmy Posted November 30, 2002 Author Posted November 30, 2002 we can set what types of files can be uploaded. right now we only allow images (.gif, .jpg) and some text files (.txt, .pdf). So someone could upload a porn picture, but no executable type files can be uploaded that could launch a virus or trojan on your computer. on that note, there was an email sent to someone at the mountain that posed itself as an egreeting, but the site it was linked to had a virus embedded in an iframe. beware of links sent by friends! tim Quote
