I heared from somebody that there is a fair amount of developed rock in and around wilkeson. Does anyone have any good info about the area, the routes and how to get there from bustling downtown Wilkeson?

Wilkeson It's sand slab climbing, no not sand stone, sand slab there is no stone to it. Go uphill by the school loop around to the right bushwack to sand hill( better take someone that has been there before) can be hard to find guide as no one wants to go back after first visit.Love those bullet hole pockets [Eek!] and that roller bareing slab feeling [Roll Eyes]

It's not too hard to find the trail from the gravel pit if you miss the first one on the way in. Just look over the berm about 30 yds in. The place kinda sucks now that every square inch got bolted or chipped.

Hey, I've been lookin for this place in Wilkeson too, and I still can't find it. I'm not sure what you mean by uphill by the school and loop around to the right? If you could give me a few more details that would be great!
