Tyson.g Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 Nah, daughters 2nd birthday party this weekend. I have a buddy looking to take some friends skiing up that way so I thought I would ask. You heading to Icicle? Quote
aclark20 Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Dirty and wet as in snow free??? Seems pretty early to have it snow free given the winter we've had. Quote
Tyson.g Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 I think we have a smartass in our midst. Disregard the Dirty Wet post. Quote
aclark20 Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Shoulda figured as much from a spray'prentice... However, I'd also appreciate a conditions update on the road. Quote
Tyson.g Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 FS says snow blocks/closes road close to road 13. Quote
genepires Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I think we have a smartass in our midst. Disregard the Dirty Wet post. gene = smartass? maybe, but only to folks I like. Haven't been on that road in over 5 years. I need to correct that silliness. A road can be dirty and wet under 4 feet of snow. Quote
Tyson.g Posted May 2, 2012 Author Posted May 2, 2012 Ah, gene is a good egg and if anyone deserves s good ribbing I am a good candidate. You do have a point about the road under the snow lad. Quote
genepires Posted May 2, 2012 Posted May 2, 2012 I used to spend much more time out there. With the given snow fall this winter and lack of sun in the spring, I give it a 90% chance that there will be 3 to 4 miles of road walking and possibly sharing the road with sledheads. The permited time to use the meadows for them must end soon for the season but I can't remember the exact date. Quote
