Dr.Go Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Trip: Cinderella Peak - Date: 4/23/2012 Trip Report: Due to snow I parked about a mile from Elbow Lk trailhead. Logs are still in place over river and trail is in good shape with patchy snow untill about 2800 ft. I left the trail at the first clearing where I could see the mountains. I dropped down to the creek and was able to skin the rest of the way maintain a level elevation until I was in the Green Creek basin below the Mythic Wall, 2 hrs 15 min. From there I gained the ridge lookers left of the Green Creek Clacier and ascended to the summit. It was so hot I stripped down to my underware, lukily no one was around (I got fried). Made it to the summit in 5 hrs. Maybe the fasted summit in the Sisters range and no logging roads. Jesse on the summit with Mt Baker in background. The N face below the summit. Little Sister Snowboarded 3000ft down, then gained the ridge above Lk Wiseman and snowboarded down to the lake. Back up to the ridge E of the lake and back to Elbow lake trail. Cinderella Pk and Little Sister Southern Sisters range Jesse napping with Cinderella Pk, Little Sister, Skookum Pk, S Twin Sister Lk Wiseman forground with Cinderella rear. South and North Twin Sisters and Mythic Wall center. Mt Baker Last run down from point East of Lk Wiseman. Gear Notes: Splitboard. Ice ax and crampons, didn't use. Approach Notes: Elbow Lk trail. Leave trail near 2800 feet and maintain elevation until Green Creek basin is reached. Quote
