jbuckmaster Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Looking to ski Shasta sometime near the end of May. We are hoping to do the Hotlum-Wintun Ridge route. I am wondering how the road to Brewer Creek trailhead is around the end of May? Is it usually passable? Thanks for any info you might have! Quote
96avs01 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 BC trail head is rarely accessible by vehicle before mid-June. Robin and her website (http://mountshastaguide.com/) are a great resource for conditions/access. Quote

burchey Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Just checked with rangers - 13-14 miles of snowed-in road before Brewer trailhead. We're shooting for the North Gate instead (hotlum glacier), only a little over a mile of snow prior to the TH there. Quote
