Mt. Shasta: Hotlum-Wintun Ridge

Looking to ski Shasta sometime near the end of May. We are hoping to do the Hotlum-Wintun Ridge route. I am wondering how the road to Brewer Creek trailhead is around the end of May? Is it usually passable? Thanks for any info you might have!

BC trail head is rarely accessible by vehicle before mid-June. Robin and her website (http://mountshastaguide.com/) are a great resource for conditions/access.

Just checked with rangers - 13-14 miles of snowed-in road before Brewer trailhead. We're shooting for the North Gate instead (hotlum glacier), only a little over a mile of snow prior to the TH there.
