Don't remember running water if we bivy on Arm. You can't really bivy on the Sahale arm... there is a camp up high, and they enforce only camping there. ewhack Posted September 8, 2011 Share Posted September 8, 2011 Haven't come up from lower Horseshoe Basin. The descent from the toe of the Sahale Glacier into upper Horseshoe Basin is pretty straight forward; beware rock fall. I would recommend that approach. Probably less bugs.
