Eric K Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Does anyone have any info on the boat accessed routes at banks lake. I would be interested in getting any info from anyone who has any to give. Thanks for your help. Eric Quote
DavidW Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Just about all the actual climb-out-of-the-boat routes I know of are detailed in Weekend Rock: Washington... it's available everywhere and is a give-away as far as guidebooks go... $19.95. A few on here have complained about managing the canoe... It's not quite as simple as just standing there... bring a couple of fenders (cushions/life-vests, whatever) so you don't scratch-up the side of your boat and consider moving the boat out from under the leader until they have clipped some pro and are certain not to fall off and go through the bottom of the boat! Have fun... bring your swim fins! Quote
Jens Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Anyone have the low down on boat rentals over at Banks for some deep water solo action? Quote
Riley81 Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 Checkout Orange wall or Post Modern wall, both have some pretty good routes. Moutain projects link This was my fun experience out there. Banks Lake TR I thought seam-iotics was an especially good climb as wall as good rock. If you want a guide book pickup Rock climbs of central washington. It has all this stuff plus more boat accessed stuff. REI book link Quote
