wayne Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Those goats sure like the N ridge. We saw their tracks all over it 3 weeks ago . Nice report. Quote
joshzielinski Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 how long does this route take from the car to summit? looks scenic, nice pics. Quote
bruce59 Posted July 26, 2011 Author Posted July 26, 2011 A little more beta. The route took me 8.5 hrs to the summit. Two hrs. from the trailhead to where I camped, and 6.5 hrs. from my camp to the summit. I'm not real fast, but steady. It is non-technical and there was about 2,000 vertical feet of loose scree in the middle of the ridge. The last 2000' was snow covered. Quote
joshzielinski Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 thanks for the info. i've heard all about this scree... gaiters... check. -jz Quote
