The next time you gun for your chosen classic on Snow Creek Wall, be advised that there is significant and highly impressive windfall at the scw turnoff. You will not recognize it anymore. The creek is still passable as the multitude of older growth that were blown over thankfully fell perpendicular to the creek. With enough traffic, the trail will re-emerge. I'm guessing it was wind that caused this since there is not the usual pile of snow and tell -tale signs of an avy. One of the more impressive blowdowns I've ever seen! It's worth a look see.

FYI: the trail has been re-etched thru the blowdown. Needs some log cutting work but mostly easy to follow. Also bushes have been pruned considerably. Thanks for the hard work L-town crew!!!

Thank you to those that did some pruning. It made the log walking much easier. Impressive amount of linking log ramps together just to get down to the creek.

The water in the creek is very high right now so getting across the last 5-10 feet of the creek is a bit interesting; you walk the tree until it is only about 4-6" around and then jump to a broken rotting log that is angled into the creek. Once the water drops a little it won't be as interesting.
