I am able to get Scarpa boots through work for a great price. Right now I am looking at buying a pair, but not sure which pair to get. I am interested in either the Charmoz GTX's or the Triolet's. I will not be doing any winter/extreme cold stuff in them, and when I graduate up to that stuff I will buy another set of boots.

Right now my goals are Adams, Baker this year, then Rainier next summer.

I don't get cold feet very easily, in fact my feet usually stay hot and sweat a lot. I have tried some sportiva's on, but the toe box is too narrow for me, and the Scarpa boots just fit my feet better.

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated!

Scarpas fit my wide foot better as well. For Adams and Baker either Charmoz or Triolet should be fine in the summer. As for Rainier, in July-August they might be ok, but I personally like a little bit warmer boot e.g. Scarpa Mont Blanc.
