robpatterson5 Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Anyone used the Ti pins NWAlpine has on their website? I ended up with a pair like them, and was just wondering if anyone has used them in anger, and what they thought? Quote
John Frieh Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 @Rob: I've got one from NW Alpine that I'd sell you Quote
robpatterson5 Posted May 12, 2011 Author Posted May 12, 2011 (edited) thnx.I'll pass - just wondering if they hold as well as angles Edited May 12, 2011 by robpatterson5 Quote
John Frieh Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I havent pounded it enough to comment on the longevity but I've been bashing a number of Ti blades and wedges from a Japanese company the last couple of years that seem to be holding up okay. My experience with pins is (at least for alpine climbers) often you leave them when bailing well before the pin is worn out. Quote
