cascadian coulior snow conditions?

planning to climb the west ridge of stewart next weekend. my understanding is we will not need ice ax or crampons to descend the cascadian coulior this time of year. anybody been up there lately?

You will not need them. The only snow is a tiny patch near the summit and you can avoid it easily.

Came down the cascadian yesterday. There is little snow to be found and, like said before, can be bypassed. I forgot how hienous of a descent it was! make sure you've got good beta as route finding can be tricky. The gully is full of loose boulders ready to come down. Capt- I saw your post in the register, pretty tame- I was very dissapointed. I expected a couple of pages of profane and vulgar spraying!
