G-spotter Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 When I'm driving to work, looking south across the border I can see some nice-looking ice (45m? slab to steep) forming up on a north-facing cliff on the American part of Vedder Mountain. Looking at the map I can see it's near the end of Jones Road and Nims Road east of Sumas, just south of the border. Anybody ever climb ice here? Looks like it should be thick enough to climb by this weekend. Quote
kinnikinnick Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 is that the flow right above the Mt. Baker Highway? Quote
G-spotter Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 It's nowhere near the Mt Baker Highway. It's north of that, maybe 100m south of the border, in some farmer's backyard dripping off a cliff band. Quote
