mr._happy Posted March 29, 2002 Posted March 29, 2002 i've got a set of hexes slung with gemini cord about five years old. i've never taken a big whip on any of them. the cord is pretty stiff and kinda dirty, but not faded. my question is: is it time to resling dem hexes? and if so, what should i use to resling? thanks in advance. rayborbon Posted March 29, 2002 Posted March 29, 2002 Happy, Go resling them it's cheaper than a hospital bill. They'll tell you what's good at the shop Quote

randyjgoat Posted May 9, 2002 Posted May 9, 2002 Is this the same Elvis thats on the NEICE.com? Quote
randyjgoat Posted May 9, 2002 Posted May 9, 2002 Sounds like a good idea to resling those. If for no other reason ,you have a doubt about a piece of gear.Just one more evil thing to have kicking around in the back of your skull when your trying to wrestle with self doubt about a move or a run out.Confidence is key to staying relaxed and focussed, and safe. Then again I have a Chouinard tube chock still slung with perlon from the 80s. Probably should replace that. Quote
