I'm thinking of leaving Saturday from PDX before noon. Leave the lodge, head up normal south side route, take a left to Illumination saddle. Set up bivy, open a tall boy and maybe wake up early for a summit attempt - Not counting on a summit, just need some leg work before Rainier. Interested? Bring your own tent and pillow, sucka.
