maxhasson
Anybody out there have an extra set of M10 anti balling gizmos? 50 bucks new seems outlandish, perhaps you accidentally purchased an extra set? Gunkiemike
Lots of free ways to make your own, from soda bottles, flexible silicone cutting boards, duct tape...
scotty1974
They suck, you'd probably be better of making your own. They are difficult to get on and they ripped up front after about 10 times out. They are nothing but heavy latex type rubber. I won't buy those crampons again the antibotts suck so bad... maxhasson
thanks for the info scotty, glad I didn't drop any dough on them. I was hoping they'd be more durable/streamlined than the homemade variety but it sounds like I'm better off DIY.
OlympicMtnBoy
I'll second that. I got a second pair of those stupid rubber things for $5 in a closeout misc. bin somewhere, but they still suck. My first pair, one ripped after 2 days, so I replaced it with a milk jug plastic, coat hanger, and duct tape jobby which far outlasted the other side. cbcbd
The antibots do suck but mine are still hanging on despite having ripped out a couple of the aluminum clips. But like said previously, I personally wouldn't replace them with the stock ones - probably spend less time fabricating some out of a plastic cutting board as you would attaching the stock ones. .
