I'm hoping to the use the vast knowledge of cc.com skiers...

I'm trying to find one set of skies that I can use for everything. 60/40 of resort vs side/backcountry. I already have the fritchi bindings from previous season. Anyway, my roommate suggested a bunch of skies and the moments kind of top the list for me especially considering their lightweightness. Anyone here have experience or know anyone with them? Or other suggestions?

The rest of the list my roommate gave me included rossignol s5, dynastar legend pro, armada jp vs julien (<2008), k2 hardside

thanks for any help

I have a few buddies that just kill it with the 4frnt VCT. It is a sick ski.

I have the Line Prophet 100s and love them. It is my second pair of Prophets that's how much I love them.

How hard to do you ski? Many of these companies have two similar models with one being for the ripping skier the other for the casual one. I also know a few people that rock the BD Kilowatts and love them.

This years Nordica Enforcer mounted with some Dukes. That's my two cents for a 60/40 set-up. Sure, it's kinda heavy, but you only want to tour 40 percent of the time. Just think of how hard you'll crush it the other 60 percent.

I have a raging boner for the Duke. It surely needs a more dynamic climbing bar, but there is "NO" compromise on downhill performance. Fritchi, Silveretta and other like bindings are deplorable on corduroy....of course this isn't fact. Perhaps I'm just a shitty skier, but I can't jive with all that torsional flex.
