Got a Squamish wedding to attend Saturday night so I will probably be hanging out there Friday thru Monday doing some climbing and whatnot if'n it dont rain. Anybody coming up send me a PM if you maybe wanna hit the Pub Friday night or whatever.

Yeah, headin to Marble. Anybody ever done Dreamweaver and know if belays are as marginal (pins) as the were when Knight wrote the description?

I did Dreamweaver, you dont need pins (take #0 and #00 TCU though) but you do need a helmet. when you get to the arch at the top ignore the topo and go straight up thru the break in the roof. There was massive rockfall from the top 3 yrs ago and ledges may still have lots of loose rock so dont climb below other parties if you can avoid it...get there first.

 

sheilagh and Graeme put up a nice multipitch 10c up the arete right of Sol that is worth checking out too. first pitch is the crux and (lots of bolts) there are a couple of 1 pitch routes you can do off a ledge part way up
