112 Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 I am planning on attending the festivities this weekend, but don't want to do any skiing. So, I am looking for someone to climb with. I can take Friday off work as well. I currently lead around 5.7/5.8 and can follow a bit harder. I am just looking to have some fun. I am willing to climb with almost anyone. The weather forecast looks great. I can meet you there, pick you up and drive (standard S-10 pick-up), or ride in your vehicle as a passenger and pitch in for gas. I live in West Seattle. -Ken Quote
mattp Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I may also be interested in doing some climbing over there this weekend. Quote
RocNoggin Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 the forecast for the pass is great on Fri but goes downhill after that, 20% chance of rain on Sat and rain/snow likely on Sun, snow level about 6100' on Sun. I was thinking about skiing Fri and Sat but maybe some rockclimbing in Mazama on Sun if its dry enough there. any takers for some rock on Sun, or late Sat afternoon if it goes to crap up at the pass? also, I have a ride, I think, up to the pass on Fri but looking for a ride down to the Ski-in gathering after that and back to Seattle on Sun. will share the cost of gas. anyone have some extra room? thanks, Brian :-) Quote
