Lubliner Posted April 24, 2002 Posted April 24, 2002 I am climbing Mt. Rainier in early June and I am looking for an experienced partner to climb it with me via the Kautz Glacier route. I have been on the mountain twice before and very familiar with the terrain we will be covering. Prefer someone with experience climbing at altitude and crossing glaciers, familiar with systems of crevasse rescue and rope travel, avalanche assessment, setting up in the cold, etc. Willing to teach a semi-expereinced person. June is a bit far away still but I'd be up for it as long as I'm not working on the days you want to climb or something like that. Anyhow, I'm familiar with all the stuff you wrote in your message.
