STP Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 It boggles my mind that human civilization has this scale of endeavor to delve into the origin of the universe. And what if they don't find the Higgs bosun? What if they do? And free will? A recent study suggests unlikihood of free will in human cognition. Despite technological developments spurred on by the advance of science, the 'enlightened' scientific worldview has not served to lessen the feeling of alienation. Some questions are better left unanswered. Quote
