Rainier in late Sep, early Oct?

My climbing partner has bailed on me, and im looking to do the Ingraham direct or DC route in late sept, to early oct. My dates are somewhat flexible and I am planning to be in the area for 8 days. I will be flying into SeaTac from North Carolina so I am not local. I own all my own personal gear and some group gear. I have been as high as the Ingraham flats but we werent able to get on the upper mountain due to probability of human triggered avalanche (May 2006)
