BD Boots

Anybody use or seen the new BD boots? I am looking to get a pair of new Alpine/AT boots and just looking at my options. I am also looking at a pair of Garmonts.

I have no experience with the BD boots, but I do have a pair of Garmont Adrenalines that I absolutely love. I ski with bigger skis and aggressively and have had no issues with them as far as not being stiff enough, not to mention they are a joy to climb in after using alpine boots for numerous trips. If you can find them locally and can try various boots on thats probably the best way to go.

I also saw that Garmont came out with a few new boots, which a few days ago when i looked at their site I had not known about, so I will probably look into those as well. Rotary, what year are you?

I demo'd a pair of the BD AT boots for 4+ hours during the Crystal Vertfest. They were bomber solid for turns, felt like an alpine boot. So much so that I did wonder how well they'd tour, being so stiff (and I was using supposedly the lighter of the two they had). Good engineering on the buckles. I love the bolo zip for the liners and the liners themselves were nice, better than the Dyna and Garmont liners. The lean adjust seemed a little arcane but didn't have time to really mess with it.

not to hyjack the thread, but what boots have the widest forfoot?

From reading the Teton Gravity thread, it seems like the new BD boots have a wide forefoot and a slim heel. Here are some reviews which I found helpful.
