Took the kids bike riding yesterday and found 2060 Clear Creek road still snowed in at about a mile in. Further up the Mtn Loop- FS49 has had a significant slump and damage 1/4 mi before N Fork Sauk Falls. Mtn Loop still snowed in after Bedal bridge.

Oh well- it was still good to see the woods after a week of being

Went up to check status of 2060 Clear Creek road, that which approaches 3:00 Rock, Green Giant Buttress, and Exfoliation Dome. About a mile in at what is typically a very small avy trough, some 25 foot deep of deposited snow and debris covered approximately 250 feet of road.

Considering that this is usually one of the minor chutes, I would guess that the other 3 or 4 slide paths you encounter in the remaining miles will be of significant volume and potential damage to the road bed.

Unsure what this means for access to the area this summer and beyond, but I thought I would update the report....

Anyone been up Clear Creek FSR in the past two weeks?

The Forest Service conditions link says it is closed at Frog Lake...but I don't about a Frog lake...anyone know where that is relative to GGB?

TIA
