G-spotter
There is no ice on Mt Pope according to my local informant. I'll be up there weekend after next for a closer look.
G-spotter
I spent a couple hours looking and the only ice I could find around Mt Pope was the WI1 on Stuart Lake. The rock looks pretty good though, if you like limestone. And there is a serious amount of unclimbed rock. Â There might be waterfall ice in gullies further down the lake past the end of the road. I didn't get a good chance to explore these. Â Based on what I saw, though, I wouldn't drive the 12 hours from Seattle to the Ft. expecting to find any waterfall ice. G-spotter
If you do drive that far, a couple hours more will put you in the Smithers to Terrace corridor where there is a serious amount of ice.
