Good for you. Go pay $240 with tax... I bought two for $400 and I'm selling one for $200.

or go pay about $300 somewhere else

$240 < $300

you seemed to think that your blem was $100 below market but it's only $40 below market

and no tax from this online seller, and no shipping, and not a blem like yours but it does come with a guarantee

good for you

Yep, you're right. They can be found on sale for about $240, or you can get deals when buying two and try to pass on the deal to your fellow climbers.

The "blem" is too small to even notice unless holding it at just the right angle in just the right light and was obviously a product of the crappy box it was shipped to me in. But I thought I would mention it anyways.

And why wouldn't this be under warranty? It certainly comes with a warranty card and copy of receipt for you to mail in.

Really? That Beacon in the picture is the first generation model from something like four years ago...

I know, I have the second generation model, and the shape is different, has a larger red button, and comes with integral case/strap set up...

This deal starts to smell like....

(BTW, I paid $240 for mine last year, and they threw in a free BD probe and shipping!!!)

They changed to a larger body and buttons in 2005, also weighs more. Everything else about them is the same. If you look around, many online dealers are still selling off stock of the old body style.
