Dirtyleaf Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Drove through last Sunday and NO ONE was out there! Let's go climb some cracks! Quote
Julia Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 How was the weather when you were there last weekend. I was planning on going to Vantage again this weekend (was there last Sunday and the weather was *beautiful*!), but the quality of climbs is definitely better at Tieton, I'm just worried it'd be too cold! 0lson Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Frenchman Coulee is probably the safer place to go. Â Forcasts: Â Lower Tieton: NOAA Â Vantage:NOAA Quote
selkirk Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Even during high summer Royal Columns is in the shade all morning so it would make for a chilly start! Quote
Dirtyleaf Posted February 23, 2008 Author Posted February 23, 2008 Blue skies and about 45. Saturday looks like the best bet. Quote
Dirtyleaf Posted February 23, 2008 Author Posted February 23, 2008 "Safer" Take away all the people, toss in good crack after crack, predictably decent weather (most of the time) and you get Tie it on. Quote
Dirtyleaf Posted February 23, 2008 Author Posted February 23, 2008 Down jackets and gloves if you need to. Otherwise just climb hard. Cold is just a feeling. Climbing is better than "feeling" Quote
