Dane Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Anyone actually heated up their Spantik inner boots and molded them? Sportiva says they were made to be molded. But they won't tell you any more than it takes a heated air tower at a professional boot fitter and not to use a oven like what they use for the Intuition inner boot. Better yet they don't have anyone in the US that is authorized to do it. Any ideas or experience with this technique or this inner boot? Quote
DRep Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 from my experience with those, just go to any shop with airtowers, and just tell them what you're trying to do. Its easy to do on your own, just leave em on the tower for about five to ten minutes, and then put your foot in the liner, put the liner in the boot, followed by lacing them up snuggly but not too tight, stand in them until the liner cools down and then take them off. Good luck. Quote
