So heading down for our second annual trip in in a few weeks, and curious... Last year, one of our party arrived really early in the day and was able to pick up isobutane cannisters somehweres around Ontario Airport. This year we are all arriving late (~9PM on a Wednesday night), probably too late for REI etc. Are there any late night mini-marts where we could get cannisters, or alternatively who sells them in town if we can't get there until the following day/evening?

There is a Target in Palm Springs or one of the adjacent municipalities that had stove cannisters. Not too far from the airport on one of the main drags.

The little climbing store by the west entrace carries fuel cannisters too. Cost a bit more there.

There is a 24 hour shop and save/grocery store in Yucka Valley. I cant remember if they sell fuel. But they sell everything else.

The climbing store at the entrance road has a wide assortment of fuel cansiters. The large grocery store in yucca valley just has the coleman canisters

I think local tradition involves just pouring white gas on the rock and setting it ablaze.
