goatboy Posted July 24, 2007 Posted July 24, 2007 Hello, Hoping to take my father-in-law climbing this weekend and am wondering about conditions on the Quien Sabe Glacier. Does anyone have recent photos of the glacier or general conditions in Boston Basin? THANKS! GB Quote
rob Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 I was up in the boston basin 2 weeks ago. Quein Sabe looked pretty good, the party we saw climbing it was able to take a pretty direct route. The low camp was totally thawed and dry. We had a run in with a bold coyote who decided to invite himself to dinner. Quote
goatboy Posted July 25, 2007 Author Posted July 25, 2007 Sounds good. Probably hasn't changed TOO much with the relatively cool temps we've been having...though I wonder about all the rain... I'll keep an eye out for coyotes! Thanks, GB Quote
tthirloway Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 I was up there just last week. The Quien Sabe still looked good, and the Taboo glacier was in great shape, so I would expect the Quien Sabe to be similar. Have fun. Quote
Blake Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Yesterday it looked fine up to the saddle W of Sahale. Quote
