dt_3pin Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Nice. All these Cali TRs are killing me, but please, keep bringing the stoke! Quote
gt5816v Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Nice, I think that is my favorite climb. Can't believe it's been 12-13 years since I've been up it.... damn! Quote
fheimerd Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Just was down there last week and did that climb. Lots of fun and really easy for a 5.9 compared to some stuff in the valley. We climbed it with only 2 hours of sleep after arriving from p-town at 5 in the morning. Now I'm back and it's raining. California kicks ass in June. Quote
bobinc Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Just there yesterday-- no one at the pull out except... a YNP employee saying they had closed that side for SAR chopper operations. Damn! Did Crescent Arch instead which is very enjoyable and pretty stiff for the grade (old school 5.9). Quote
Kyle_Flick Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Just got back from the High Sierra last weekend. The second day we were down there, we enjoyed the fantastic granite of the Regular Route on Fairview Dome. This semi busy route is not to be missed! It was nice to see several folks climbing other routes on the Dome. Quote
