Dru Posted November 21, 2002 Posted November 21, 2002 I saw one of their jackets delaminate and rip after being worn for a whole DAY of off trail hiking. The guy that makes their gear is basically making exact copies of the "How To Make Your Own Gear" Ray Jardine ultrahiking crap but trying to market them to climbers instead of hikers. And guess what, there are plenty of fools out there who think that the lightest pack or whatever on the market is always the best. Have I got a pack for you. 70 liters and only weighs one pound, $125. So its made out of crepe paper and balsa wood, with suspension of dental floss, duct tape for closure and no padding or lid, but hey, iTS THE LIGHTEST ONE ON THE MARKET!!! So LIGHT YOU CAN CARRY SIX OF EM AT ONCE!!!! New for next year, toothbrushes with the lightening holes in the shaft pre-drilled, $35.00 Get a bunch as Stocking Stuffers! Quote
