If I use plastic boots I will need to purchase the long flex bar so the crampons will fix the boots (I wear size 11.5). However I can fit my Danner Hiking boots into the crampons. We are doing the South Side of Hood (most likely the old chute). I thought this setup would be OK, but with the conditions this year I was not sure. Thanks again. Wish you GREAT SUCCESS...
