hikerwa Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 Overboots may be too much for any cascade climbing, but I guess that depends on if you are climbing in the worst possible weather, or in basic everyday nasty coldness. Plastics are probably the boot of choice, I've never liked them for around here, but they are warm and stay dry. I think as long as you have on the appropriate gear, a pair of gaitors and leather boots would be fine. It's not like you're gonna be up there for several weeks at a time.... Quote
