ilookeddown Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 (edited) Went missing on January 17th near chair 1 at Alpental. After days of searching, I have been unable to locate it. Spring is on its way so I am hopping it turns up in the next few months. It's twin it very lonely and feels useless. If found will trade for a case of beer of choice. It is a Dyanstar 8800 with Dynafit bindings. Thanks, Dave Edited March 2, 2007 by ilookeddown Quote
catbirdseat Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I found a lonesome ski at Stevens a few years back and never did find its owner. Quote
spicoli11 Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Prolly a couple feet down in the snowpack. I'm assuming it went down in the creek region? Quote
ilookeddown Posted March 1, 2007 Author Posted March 1, 2007 (edited) As ironic as it sounds, one of my friends checked lost and found at Alpental today. The ski was found a week ago 6' up in a tree above the creek. I stopped checking the lost and found a week ago. I did report it and they put my report on a piece of scratch paper on a clip board. I why wonder they didn’t call? I would be amazed if anything that was reported lost and then turned in was actually returned. Edited March 2, 2007 by ilookeddown Quote
spicoli11 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Wow....nice. I was thinking about that ski last thursday on my way up armstrong as I was looking down at the creek and all that lovely powder that is now gone. Quote
Kevin_Matlock Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 How the hell did your ski end up in a tree?! Well, DUH! Isn't it obvious? Quote
