Craig Pope Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Hey, so I tried out myspace, tried out facebook, tried the emails with fouty pictures that everyone eventually got pissed off about. . .so I just made my own friggin' web site. http://www.verticalpope.com won't be here much more, unless you know where any ice is still standing in the lower 48 Yeeha. Craig Pope Posted February 15, 2007 Author Posted February 15, 2007 it is still under construction, so you got to go to trips, then /07 and I want some input on the navigation of the site. and other things i could add to make it more interesting. Quote
skykilo Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 It's hard to read with the small fonts and gray colors that don't have enough contrast against the black background. Quote
gary_hehn Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 Nice clean start. I like the thumbnail gallery approach with the images. Yes, I didn't have that much trouble with them, but you could maybe work the fonts a bit. Quote
skykilo Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 The thumbnails work well. I'm on a different computer now and it's not so hard to read, but before I was on my computer with a crappy monitor and it was very difficult. Quote
G-spotter Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 personal climbing web pages forum would be a good place to put this thread Quote
wfinley Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 If you move the PREV / NEXT arrow buttons to the top of the photos then it's more user friendly in that one does not have to poke around to jump to the next photo... like this. Quote
Craig Pope Posted February 16, 2007 Author Posted February 16, 2007 K, the prev/next thing is a good idea. I like the verdana font, but I can see that I couldbetter the contrast of the text vs. the background. oh, and could anyone think of another link that they would like to see on a climbing website??
