joshenj Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 So this may seem weird, or maybe not. But when I go climb a good hard day, then a couple days later go climb again, it feels like my arms have the feeling of shin splints. Anyone else have this similar thing happen to them? If I cut back some it seems to help but Id like to keep going everyother day with no pain. Would supplements maybe to help bones be stronger and avoid this? Any tips? Or maybe this is just something I have to gain strength or something im not sure. Thanks Quote
layton Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Are you talking about your forearms? On the "non-palm" side (posterior)? You can get compartment syndrome there I guess, but sounds more like tendinosis or a muscle strain. Without actually knowing what's up, it's hard to say. I doubt your bones are involved. You probably need to strengthen the non-pulling muscles to balance out your arm. i.e. you're overdoing it. Quote
