Dru Posted October 9, 2001 Posted October 9, 2001 that route is unrepeated(?). probably best in spring. jones lake - need 4wd but not high clearance. road to end of lake is overgrown. then follow avalanche chutes and creek beds to the base of the face. there is a photo of that somewhere on bivouac.com - search for Knight peak. Dru Posted October 10, 2001 Posted October 10, 2001 you might see an old man named fred beckey up there dragging some young climbers up one of those unclimbed lines. he was pretty keen on it last spring but the right snowpack stability never materialized.
