Lots of detail and many new routes detailed that only a dedicated Canadian Alpine Journal reader will have heard about before. The chehalis...Chilliwack Valley...anderson river range...tantalus...old settler and exotic remoter peaks. I'm getting a free contributors copy so don't believe my recommendation too much, grab a copy and see for yourself. My copy (along with the 2001 updated Squamish guide) should be arriving in the mail in a plain brown wrapper any day now. As for the smoking paper thing I think KM wants the guidebook to be a bit more durable than that. And your "zero tolerance" government would probably block it at the border if it was true!
