ruddersbox Posted June 4, 2002 Posted June 4, 2002 Next week I am planning on climbing Mt. Jefferson via the North Milk Creek gully, traversing the summit pinnacle, and descending via the south west ridge to regain the PCT. Is this a death mission or a will a good time be had by all. Please give me some insight… Where you at G.T? Quote
Big_Wave_Dave Posted June 7, 2002 Posted June 7, 2002 There is a lot of loose rock in the gully but the snow cover is good right now so should be OK. Once across the traverse is plenty. If you descend the gully from between the summit horns you can basically avoid most of the traverse itself and spend less time under the actual crumbing pinnacle. Good luck, I hope you don't die.
