Just a quick note to remind everyone how important it is to report grizzly bear observations in the North Cascades. As a bear researcher and conservationist I am part of a team that is trying to learn more about these elusive creatures (fewer than 20 remain in this 10,000 square mile North Cascades Ecosystem). dinomyte Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 I thought the key difference between grizzly and black bears was in the scat....ya know....grizzly bear's have bells in it and smell like pepper spray....
