Pauly
Coming from Illinois and looking to climb Jefferson Park Glacier this weekend. Anyone have any info on the latest conditions out there? Thanks.
jlag
The Berg is gigantic and impassable. Reports of going around to the left on shitty exposed rock. Been over 100 degrees of days out here, good luck.

dan_forester
I'll just second what jlag said. I was up in Jefferson Park yesterday and the schrund is monstrous-looking.
Billy
My buddy just climbed it last week. Schrund is casual, just go up the right side of the glacier. You can get good rock anchors the whole way. For some reason most folks go left up and around but just stay right. Its steeper, more intersting climbing. He only needed his second tool, for a short pitch, so there is not too much groveling involved. Edited July 25, 2006 by Billy
