Okay, just one more dork post and that's it. Geek_em8.gif

I am wondering if anyone is interested in the following project--a super simple site design. PM me and let me know how much cash and how much time. Gimme a few links to stuff you've done.

Rough outline of the site...

Opening page - Description of the service and a login area. Already registered visitors can logon and go to the list of vendors in their area and print out coupons. If the visitor isn't a "member" yet, they can enter their zip code into a from and see a list of participating vendors in their area.

Registration page - We would look to collect: Name, City, Zip, Email (Optional - Street address, Phone number, Type of project they are working on, and when they will be completing the project). The Zip code will be used to determine the list of Vendors that is presented to the visitor.

Vendor List Page - A page that will list participating vendors in the area. These will be grouped by product category (Flooring, Lumber, Plumbing, etc.) and depending on the zip code the visitor entered with will determine the list of vendors displayed.

Vendor Detail Page - A page describing the services of the vendor, store hours, contact info/map and links to printable coupons from the vendor.

Coupon Print Out - Only registered visitors will be able to print out coupons. If a visitor isn't a registered user, when they click on the coupon link from the Vendor page, they will first be taken to the registration page, and once registration is completed they will be able to print the coupon.

Backend - The admin section should allow for the adding of vendors to the system. Uploading PDF coupons for printing. Editing of vendor information. The ability to produce activity reports for vendors (How many people visited their info page, printed their coupons, etc.)

This bid should just cover the development costs, I will handle the pretty pictures part.

I know this is just a very rough outline, but all the client is looking for at this time is a rough estimate of cost. Once they get an idea for how much this is going to cost, they will either shelve the project for a while or move forward. When they move forward, we will sit down for a real project planning meeting to iron out all the details of the site, and then would look for a final bid after that meeting.

I could need the bid by Friday at the latest.

Thanks guys.
