Geek_the_Greek Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 This ended up being an awesome tour despite chattery skiing conditions: up to Pineapple pass, over to Hemlock pass, around the north side of Low mountain, down to Tuscohatchie lake, up the Tuscohatchie/Denny lake divide to the top of Granite, and down the s-face to the car (requires a car shuttle or low-probability hitchhike). Some huge claw-y tracks we saw are apparently wolverine tracks?! (As identified by a friend who knows something about this.) The ski down granite was just soft enough to be really nice. Quality tour Lovely pics by Phil Quote
skykilo Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 I hadn't noticed this. That does sound like a nice tour, with an easy and convenient exit-vehicle placement. Sweet. Quote
DirtyHarry Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Looks like you guys had some nice turns despite the conditions. Quote
