JoshK Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 -30C? Sounds like a nice day of climbing in the Canadian Rockies. I couldn't believe how amazingly warm 0C felt after a day of -30C. I could have walked around in shorts. Quote
willstrickland Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 Ever changed a flat in those temps? I did. Yesterday. At -40C/-40F. Nice way to start your weekend on a Friday after work. Quote

Horsehit, son. You might wanna check that again. Scroll down to Fri, Jan 20: http://www.weather.com/weather/monthly/99701?from=tenDay_topnav_undeclared In fact, it was -42F. The HIGH on Fri was only -30F. Quote
JoshK Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Huh, definitely said -26 for "yesterday" the day after you posted. In any event, i was just giving you shit - changing anything in any temperature in that range has to be major unpleasentness. I remember carting out giant pots of boiling water in the cdn rockies to attempt to remove some of the packed on snow and ice from the inside of my wheels to get rid of the horrible ice packed wheel vibration.
