Jake
Anybody used these boots dryers ? Do boot dryers that absorb moisture work at all? Useful or not?
curtveld
Don't know about that type, but the old-school Peet boot dryers (http://www.madsens1.com/peetdry.htm) are pretty tough to beat. They dry em out from the inside.
gabs
I've been using this for some time: http://www.boottle.org They do look, well pretty kinky but they work great. A friend of mine design and produce them, and he's now trying to get them into store...meanwhile I think he ship from his house if you want one. dmarch
Anybody used these boots dryers ? Do boot dryers that absorb moisture work at all? Useful or not? Â I've used them and they do work. They would be ideal for a base camp situation, but I wouldn't want to carry 'em around. For drying out boots at home, I use/prefer the Peet. marylou
Anybody used these boots dryers ? Do boot dryers that absorb moisture work at all? Useful or not? Â Yep. That kind works great. Your boots bone-dry in the morning.
Jake
Excellent. I'm looking to use them on ski boots in a more base camp style and for travel. The bootles look, uh, interesting. May have to test them out too. They look good for the backcountry.
FFCS
K2 makes a set of boot dryers that don't use heat. They look like bean bags. Supposed to work great, no heat damage etc. I use the Peet dryer but I think it gets a little too warm. Will be buying the K2 dryers next month.
