Maybe this question should have been asked in the newbies forum where it is Ok to ask stupid questions? There are dozens of different Ti ice axes from various companies. Got any other great new ideas? Ever wonder why no one makes an expandable chock, maybe something spring loaded, to replace clunky hexes?

Maybe you should fucking give him a break, eh?

There is this great thing called Google! rolleyes.gif

All you have to do is Google "titanium ice axe" before you ask a dumb question, to see that there are 6 or 8 models on the market. Then you don't have to ask...

...Just wondering if titanium has been used for ... ices axes

But why go to the problem of doing any research on your own when you can post on cc.com and have people make fun of you instead, it's sooo much simpler! HCL.gifrolleyes.gifwave.gifmushsmile.gif

Of course the one climbing market where Titanium HAS made substantial inroads is in the spork models. It's damn hard to find steel sporks anymore. hahaha.gif
