Alex Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 The rule of thumb is that when Pan Dome and Tabasco are in well enough, it might be time to check out the other routes but not before. The way I usually do it is plan a bc ski trip to Baker, throw in some ice climbing gear. (If Pan Dome is in, go climb it before/apres ski since its approach is so short.) Do the skiing, check out the routes on the back side of Table Mnt, come back the next week if they looked good. I know everyone is itching to climb ice, but Banff doesnt even have anything climbable yet, so we all have to be patient here on the coast. Quote
TyClimber Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Has anyone been up to Baker in the last day or so, what is the situation with Pan Dome and Tobascoe? Are they formed up enough to climb? Or even close? Quote
philfort Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Was at ski area today, didn't see any ice on Pan Dome. Quote
