JoshK Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/10/11/miers.ap/index.html This article is full of classics: "In 1997, Miers sent Bush a belated birthday card featuring a sad-looking dog and the note: "Dear Governor GWB, You are the best Governor ever -- deserving of great respect!" BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH...I'm just gonna assume she was being friendly and that isn't actually her opinion. "...Miers' record as chair of the Texas Lottery Commission from 1995-2000." Now *that* is supreme court material! I've gambled in Vegas before, think I'm qualified? "Bush wrote back to wish Miers a happy 52nd birthday, telling her that he appreciated her friendship and to "never hold back your sage advice." He ended with a postscript: "No more public scatology."" Now this one I don't even know what to think of. I actually had to go to the dictionary to confirm what I thought this meant. I really hope there is another meaning I am not aware of. Scatology *The study of fecal excrement, as in medicine, paleontology, or biology. *An obsession with excrement or excretory functions. The psychiatric study of such an obsession. Obscene language or literature, especially that dealing pruriently or humorously with excrement and excretory functions. Quote
