We pay so much for insurance, we should get the benefits we pay for.

BTW, its (usually) not like car insurance, you get the full value of replacement gear, not bluebook on used gear.

I had a lot fo gear stolen out of my car after we had to evacuate my friend off Little Tahoma a couple of years ago. My homeowner's insurance paid for the gear, but they cancelled my policy shortly thereafter.
